This is a genuinely neat idea: a MagSafe-style hub that also lets me install an M.2 SSD inside it, so the whole setup is one tidy unit. In my iPad transfer tests it was properly quick (a ~17GB file in about 20 seconds), and it can read the internal SSD alongside an SD card at the same time in my experience.

Cons
- -iPadOS still can’t initialize/format a fresh SSD (needs Mac/PC first)
- -SSD install was a bit fiddly until I gave it a bit of welly
- -Placement on iPad can be awkward depending on the USB-C port position
