The BOOX Note Air 5C gives you loads of knobs to turn—vivid modes, contrast, colour brightness—if you like dialling in the look. In my simple, same-colours test, it ended up last by a whisker, and I noticed more ghosting going on. That said, if you want openness and settings for days, BOOX is built for that.
