The God of the Woods was my favorite read of the month—I put it off for over a year because it’s thick and I’d heard it was slow, but it absolutely did not drag for me. With two disappearances 15 years apart, multiple POVs, and timelines from the 1950s to the 70s, it felt like assembling a puzzle, and I couldn’t stop reading until I saw the whole picture.
