Mary Jane was such a sweet, charming coming-of-age story, and I loved reading it as a mom. Being in a 14-year-old’s innocent POV while her world expands beyond her conservative home was both comedic and heartfelt, and it left me with a really good message about acceptance and being a safe space for your kids.
