
I wanted to read Elin Hilderbrand in the summer, and 28 Summers felt like the perfect cabin-trip pick. I loved the segmented “summer-by-summer” format and the Nantucket atmosphere, but it did feel a little long and I didn’t fully resonate with Mallorie—so I landed around a 3.75/4.
