Little Britches was our recent read-aloud, and it was such a good one—honestly, the ending surprised me and I teared up a little. It feels like a “boy version” of Little House on the Prairie, following a boy growing up in a poor ranching family. If you’re looking for a solid family read-aloud, we really enjoyed this title.
