Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris is one I had to include even though it’s technically from 2024, because it kicked off my love for psychological thrillers. I really enjoy B.A. Paris’s style, and after reading her books I started looking for similar authors like Freida McFadden. If you want thrillers with that “wait—what?!” feeling, B.A. Paris is a great place to start.
