In this video, I take you with me in China for a fun (and honestly challenging) polyglot challenge: speaking only French for a whole day. The idea is simple—no switching to English, no “just one sentence” in another language. I wanted to test how well I can stay in French in real-life situations, especially when I’m tired, distracted, or people around me don’t expect French at all. Even without a “classroom” setting, this kind of challenge is one of my favorite ways to build confidence, because it forces you to think faster, use the vocabulary you already have, and get comfortable with mistakes. If you’re learning a language, you don’t need perfect grammar to communicate—you need consistency, courage, and real practice. This vlog is also about culture and travel: how people react when you choose an unexpected language, and how language can instantly change your experience in a new country.
