How to Make a Perfect Furry Pom Pom: The Easy Step-by-Step Sewing Tutorial

Give you hat a major style boost by crafting a perfect furry pom pom from faux fur. We use faux fur in this tutorial that has strands that are 2 inches or 4 to 5 cm in length. Good quality faux fur is important for the success of your pom pom. Try to shop in person for the fur so you can feel and see the thickness and the quality. The longer the strands, the larger your pom pom will be using the template I share. Always give your pom pom a good shake or tap against your leg or hand to fluff it up!! Once it's on a hat, fluff it up by shaking or tapping some more. I found some old pieces of white faux fur, after I made this video, and tried dying them to get a charcoal sheen on one and tan or sand sheen to another. I used Rit Dye in my washer and then dried the pieces in the dryer. Wow! Will share in my next video about making a simple, easy and so stylish pom pom toque! Stay tuned!
