About This Video

In this video I’m rating last night’s Vanity Fair Oscar After-Party red carpet looks from the perspective of someone who works in the fashion industry. I’m breaking everything down the way I actually look at it—silhouettes, necklines, hair, shoes, and accessorizing—and giving my honest ā€œdid you slay or did you miss?ā€ take. It’s part 2, and I’m not holding back. My number one of the night is Emma Chamberlain in Jean Paul Gaultier—she fully slayed the house down. I’m obsessed with every detail, especially the edgy neckline and the way the hair works with the whole look, so she gets a 9.8 from me. I also talk about Lisa in Miss Sohee (confusing but fashion-forward—6.5), Hailee Steinfeld in Tamara Ralph (stunning but a little much for an after-party—6), and Selena Gomez in Armani (basic strapless silhouette, but she looks happy, healthy, and incredible—8.5). Then we get into my misses: Sarah Paulson in Marc Jacobs (overwhelming—2/10), Lily-Rose Depp in Chanel (I hate the proportions—1.5), and Ice Spice (love the glam and hair, but I’m just like… what are we doing?).
