About This Video

I’m taking you guys along on my first-ever trip to Newport, Rhode Island for Valentine’s Day weekend with my boyfriend (David) and our Frenchie, Toast. It was freezing and insanely windy by the water, but Newport is truly so charming—cute boutiques, amazing food, and those iconic mansions I’ve been dying to see. We kicked things off with an early dinner at Bar Cino (highly recommend), and I showed you my Valentine’s date night outfit—yes, a very Zara-heavy moment—plus my new Tiffany diamond pendant that David surprised me with. The next morning started at 6:30 (against my will) thanks to Toast, but the sunrise by the water was literally cotton-candy skies. We toured The Breakers (absolutely insane and so beautiful) and Marble House (breathtaking too, just not as massive as The Breakers). But real life happened: Toast wasn’t feeling well, wasn’t drinking enough water, our mini fridge died (goodbye, medicated food), and a snowstorm started rolling in—so we made the call to cut the trip short and head home. Once we were back, I did a Newport haul: Black Dog finds, a travel water bottle for Toast, a Newport mug for our collection, Jellycats (the spring bumblebee and raindrop!), a neutral starfish ornament, and mansion enamel pins. I’m 100% going back in warmer months—so drop your Newport restaurant, shopping, and activity recs for my next trip.
