I genuinely walked into Target to run my normal errands and accidentally ended up shopping the Kate Spade x Target collection on opening day. I had no idea it was launch day until I saw this beautiful, springy display—and then realized why it was so packed and chaotic. The sales associates literally couldn’t restock fast enough. Even with the madness, I have to say: this collab is so stinking cute, especially if you love colorfully chic spring and summer vibes. I didn’t shop the clothing, but I did go in on the accessories and picked up three things that felt very “NYC girl spring.” First was the Kate Spade color block beaded bag in baby blue and green—screaming summer, amazing quality, and only $35 (plus it comes with a crossbody strap). Then I grabbed the matching matchbook bag charm because matchbooks are totally a thing in New York and I love the idea of clipping it onto my bag or keys. Last, I added the fish embroidered tote—very sardine-core for spring/summer—and I can’t wait to style it with simple warm-weather outfits. Overall, the quality-to-price ratio was the biggest win for me.
