About This Video

In this one I’m running through my latest silver pickups, and it’s a proper mixed bag: an 1890 British Silver Crown, a 1948 Mexican Silver Cinco Pesos, and an 1887 Jubilee Head Half Crown in MS62. I break each coin down as I go—what it is, why I wanted it, and how it fits into my stack. If you’re into pre-decimal and world silver, this is exactly the sort of video I enjoy making because it shows the reality of stacking: it’s not always about “perfect” bullion, sometimes it’s about history, size, and getting something you actually want to own. I also share the prices I paid including delivery, because that’s the bit people really care about when they’re comparing deals. The Crown came in at £47.79, the 1948 Cinco Pesos was £47 (bundled with the Crown), and the standout was the MS62 1887 Jubilee Half Crown at £125. Main takeaway: know what you’re buying, be honest about the premium you’re paying (especially on graded pieces), and keep stacking what you like—just do your own research and don’t treat any of this as financial advice.
