Testing out Dji Pocket 4 Normal 10 bit vs. Dlog Footage

#djipocket4 #djimic3 I’ve been testing the new DJI Pocket 4 a lot lately, and in this vlog I wanted to compare D-Log vs Normal 10-Bit color to see what actually looks better for everyday vlogging. One thing I started noticing while editing is that Normal 10-Bit almost feels like there’s some kind of HDR processing happening compared to D-Log. The image can look more contrasty and punchy straight out of camera, while D-Log gives you way more flexibility in the highlights and shadows when color grading. For this vlog, I decided to leave D-Log behind and shoot entirely in Normal 10-Bit just to see how it performs in real-world situations. We’ll look at dynamic range, highlight rolloff, shadow detail, skin tones, and whether Normal 10-Bit is actually enough for daily content creation without spending extra time grading footage.
