Is DJing becoming a joke?

I’ve noticed recently that a lot of so-called DJs are not really taking the craft seriously. It seems they are just taking up the art form for social media likes and other reasons that are not related to the music. I’m seeing more and more examples of this and it’s really starting to become painfully obvious that DJing is becoming a joke.
