Paul Rodriguez is one of the best ledge skateboarders of all time. That's why I studied his nose grind technique and created baby steps for me to learn his technique and copy it for myself. Hope this helps you learn nosegrinds as well as it helped me! KEEN RAMPS 6’ FLATBAR USED IN THE VIDEO https://biturl.top/QrYBBb $25 OFF w. About This Video

In this video I’m breaking down the front nose technique by studying how Ishod does it, then I literally tested what I’m seeing on my own setup. The big idea is simple: I don’t try to “learn nosegrinds” in one jump—I steal a proven blueprint from the best ledge skaters and build baby steps I can actually repeat. I used Paul Rodriguez’ nosegrind as the base reference because P-Rod is one of the best ledge skaters of all time, and his approach gives you super clear checkpoints to copy. I go over what I’m focusing on when I’m trying to lock in the front nose: how I’m approaching the obstacle, what I’m trying to feel when the nose connects, and how I’m keeping it controlled instead of just praying I slide. If you’ve been stuck on nosegrinds or your front noses feel sketchy, this is the exact “copy what works” method I’m using—study a pro, simplify the movement, then drill it until it’s yours. I’m also skating the Keen Ramps 6’ flatbar in the session, which is perfect for repeating attempts and actually tracking progress.
