In this video I jumped into the #OutputCoLAB and cooked up a DARK POP samples challenge beat inside FL Studio. I started with Spawn to generate the core melody vibe, then I rendered the loop out and broke it into separate stems (melody/chorus/bass) so I could really control the mix. From there I show you exactly how I solo each part, assign it to its own mixer track, and build the beat up with clean, intentional processing instead of stacking a million random plugins. I also infiltrated Arcade’s new Dark Pop banks (I was in the “Love” presets) and flipped some vocal chops, plus I rendered versions with Output Movement on and off so you can hear what that extra motion really does. On the FX side, I was heavy in Arturia FX Collection lately—flanger BL-20, tube compression, and that Rev Intensity reverb preset “Dream Feedback” are crazy. For low end I used Knock for punch/saturation/sub control, and I also used T-RackS 6 Lo-Fi Punch to add width and that wavy movement. I wrap it all up by playing the final “Regretz” light drill type beat and I also mention my drum kit I’m perfecting for 2025.
