We took a break from farm life in the Dallas–Fort Worth area for an unforgettable day exploring some of the most iconic stops in North Texas—and WOW, this one did not disappoint! We start our adventure at the legendary Fort Worth Stockyards, where we step back in time and experience the famous cattle drive with over 100 years of history. We wander the shops, grab some lunch, and even hop on a train ride with our grandson—such a fun experience for the whole family! Next, we tour TX Whiskey Distillery and sample some incredible Texas whiskey (you know we had to try it ). Then it’s time for what Texas does BEST… BBQ! We visit Panther City BBQ—featured in the Michelin Guide—and put it to the test. But we don’t stop there… we also check out another local favorite, Harris BBQ, to see how it stacks up! And to top it all off, Nancy finally shares her famous deviled egg recipe that so many of you have been asking for!
