De-Winterizing in FEBRUARY!?! - Bringing Our RV Back to Life In the Middle of a Michigan Winter

After months in storage during a cold Michigan winter, it’s finally time to bring our Dynamax Europa Super C motorhome back to life! In this video we pull our RV out of storage in mid-February and begin the process of getting everything ready for our first trip of the year — a 4-day drive south to Texas. Getting a motorhome ready after winter storage isn’t as simple as turning the key. It takes two full days of work to reload the RV, de-winterize the plumbing system, check for damage from freezing temperatures, and make sure everything is safe for travel. Along the way we: • Reload all of our gear back into the RV • Install and mount a new freezer to prepare for our upcoming Alaska RV trip • Restock the pantry and make up the bed for travel • De-winterize the water system step-by-step • Sanitize the fresh water tank and plumbing • Check for leaks and winter damage • Finish the final prep before hitting the road If you’ve ever wondered what it actually takes to bring an RV out of winter storage, this video shows the real process from start to finish.
