Barcelona and Montserrat Day Tour – Gaudi, Tapas, and Montserrat in One Day!

Today we tour Barcelona Spain and see the highlights of this amazing city. We go up to Montserrat, we tour 2 major Gaudi sites, Park Guell and the Basílica de la Sagrada Família. We then have some amazing Tapas. In Montserrat we see the Black Madonna and the Chapel of del Santíssim. The crucifix in this chapel is the work of Josep Maria Subirachs. It is an image of Christ realized in negative, where only the face, the hands and the feet are seen, with a light that illuminates the face to him. He also did the Passion façade on Sagrada Familya we will see later Don’t miss seeing the Sagrada Familia. It was one of the most spectacular structures we have seen on our 9 month world cruise.
