Home prices have gone up significantly in the past few years and it was only a matter of time before the market began to correct itself. During every recession, people make a lot of money and lose a lot of money. It really just depends on which side of the fence that you want to be on. Now the home prices are starting to come down, this is an opportunity for buyers who were getting priced out, to now purchase a home at closer to market value again. The right realtor will help you negotiate a good deal especially if a house has been sitting on the market for a while. And realtors, make sure you target the homes that have been sitting for 30 days or more to get better deals for your clients. Those sellers are more likely to budge.
