And that is apartment locating or helping rental clients find their next apartments. I referred to it as a “side hustle” because most real estate agents look past working with rental/lease clients. They believe that working with these types of clients aren’t worth it because you don’t get paid enough. However, those are usually short-sighted agents. Working with rental clients can be fun, fulfilling and profitable if you know how to help and nurture these clients. As an agent, you should know that real estate is a long-term business. Meaning that it takes time to get deals done. You can’t hop into this industry thinking you’re going to make 6 figures in your first month.
