Regardless of our income, we all have bills to pay, we can't avoid that! And so my approach is to minimise the cost of those things we HAVE to pay for, so that if we have any money left over at the end of the month, it can go towards the things we actually WANT - whether that's saving for the future, booking yourself a holiday, upgrading your home, or something else. I'm a big believer of wherever you can live below your means. This means shopping around for your utilities to get the lowest cost, not upgrading your car and phone to minimise payments, meal planning and shopping at a budget grocery store, NOT upgrading your lifestyle if you're lucky enough to increase your income, instead, allow that cushion to let you live a little easier and less stressfully.
