Hi friends, in this video I covered the most important and most repeated SQL questions for TCS NQT 2026 and interviews. Earlier I already shared technical + HR questions, and my simple point is: if you seriously do the hard work for TCS NQT, you will be ready for almost every fresher job interview. Here I focused on SQL because in NQT and companies like Cognizant, they will ask at least one SQL question, and SQL plays a critical role in your selection. I explained the must-know basics like SQL definition, database/table/rows/columns, primary key vs foreign key, unique constraint, DISTINCT, WHERE vs HAVING, ORDER BY, GROUP BY, LIMIT, BETWEEN/IN/LIKE, and all joins (inner, left, right, full, self). Then I moved to practical placement-level queries like second highest salary, finding duplicate records using GROUP BY + HAVING, employees earning more than their manager (join logic), employee count per department (including “more than 5”), employees joined in last 6 months, customers with no purchase, and salary greater than average salary. At the end I also touched DBMS topics like ACID properties, normalization (1NF/2NF/3NF), and delete vs truncate vs drop, plus union vs union all.
