About This Video

So hello friends, in this video I shared the real TCS NQT 2026 interview experience (1st April) that many candidates—including my mock interview students—faced for Digital and Prime. The biggest takeaway is simple but super critical: whatever you write in your resume, go through each and every point properly. Most candidates are getting questions directly from the resume, and it plays a critical role in selection. For Prime role especially, you have to do a deep dive into your project, because the interviewer can ask you to write logic, explain how you connected frontend-backend, or even ask code-level questions based on your tech stack. I also discussed the kind of unexpected technical questions being asked—like SQL queries (second highest salary from employee table) and coding logic on paper (some interviewers ask pseudo code, some ask full logic). One candidate was asked to write the logic for binary search, so you should be ready to explain steps clearly. Interview duration is mostly around 15–20 minutes, but it can go up to 30–40 depending on the interviewer and how deep they go. My key tip: prepare your self-intro very well because first impression is last impression. Use your intro smartly to take the interview in your flow—if you’re strong in your project, highlight it so questions come from your strong area. Also, if you want clarity on where you stand, at least give one mock interview and work based on feedback.
