About This Video

Hi friends, in this video I discussed the TCS NQT 2026 coding questions asked in the 1st April 2026 (1st shift). Honestly, this shift was quite easy—one of the most easiest shifts of this year—so if you’re preparing for upcoming shifts, this will give you a clear idea about the pattern. I covered the real questions, explained the logic step-by-step, and also shared how you can write the same solution in C++, Java, and Python. First, I explained a very simple problem: you’re given a minimum charge N and an array of laptop charges, and you just need to count how many laptops have charge greater than or equal to N. Then I moved to the “Happy–Sad state simulation” question, where you simulate 4 iterations using the given transition percentages (0.3/0.7 and 0.5/0.5) and print final happy and sad values. Along with solutions, I also shared my practical advice: practice writing code from scratch (like in NQT), don’t depend too much on inbuilt shortcuts, and focus on aptitude as it plays a critical role in selection. For material and updates, I’ve shared my groups and PDF links as well.
