About This Video

In this video, I take you along as I journey to campus using London transport—bus first, then the train, and finally another bus. I started from Greenford (Greenford Garden area) and the weather was chill with a bit of rain, but still we move. I show you the real flow of the commute and how the stations look, with people moving in and out and trains arriving and leaving back-to-back. I used the Elizabeth line (and I also mention the Central line route) and you’ll see how the whole system works in real time—when to get closer so you don’t waste time, how the doors open, and the inside setup where you can sit or stand and hold on because the train can “jump” small small. One big takeaway from my experience: the trains are always on time—they follow time, so you too you have to follow time. Another key thing I share is navigation: nobody is really there to hold your hand and say “do this, do that,” so I recommend using Google Maps (or other route apps) to know your way. I also talk about an app I use called Bus Times/Bus Stop time to check when a bus will arrive. Overall, the system is reliable, developing, and it helps you get to your destination smoothly if you plan well.
