About This Video

In this video I showed you how I design a clean Zamar/Church flyer in 2026 style—simple, modern, and easy to follow. I started with my document setup (4x5 at 300 resolution) and then I pulled a few inspirations so the idea is clear from the beginning. From there, I worked step-by-step: blurring and reducing opacity on the background, using layer masks to control what shows, and keeping the whole layout organized as I move “small small” until the design feels right. I also demonstrated how I build custom shapes when I can’t find exactly what I want—sometimes I just go online, look for a reference, then use the Pen Tool and Ellipse Tool to draw my own symbol and flip/duplicate it for balance. We played with colors (I tested combinations like red/yellow and then switched to blue when the colors were “contradicting too much”), added gradients where it helps, and used icons for location, date, and time to make the information clear. Finally, I boosted the vibe with effects like outer glow, added an abstract element that changed the whole atmosphere, and did a quick color lookup to polish the final look. If you want to tweak it for your own niche, I also mentioned where you can get the PSD file.
