About This Video

In this tutorial, I walk you through how I design a clean, modern “3 Days Mega Encounter” church flyer in Photoshop—step by step, the same way I do it when I’m live. I start from what we did last time, then I pick my main image into a new canvas, position it well, and bring in the church logo (I group it and name it “logo” so my layers don’t turn into confusion). From there, I build an easy background with a black base, add an inspiration texture, and blend everything nicely using layer masks and a black-to-transparent gradient so the design feels smooth and not forced. The main “magic” here is typography and balance: I create the “3 DAYS” headline, reduce spacing to zero, keep things readable, and I’m very picky with font choice (I always say don’t use plenty fonts—stick with like two so it’s clean). To make the title pop, I clip a gold texture into the text (right-click > create clipping mask), then I add simple shapes for details like the guest minister name, theme, venue, date, and time (yes, I like adding small spice like “7:00 PM SHARP” and “EACH NIGHT”). Finally, I add motion blur accents, match gold tones with Levels, and finish with a Color Lookup for that final mood before saving.
