About This Video

In this Part 2, I continue the typical Ghana funeral poster workflow in Photoshop and I focus on the details that make the design feel “finished”. I place the deceased name/title, then I build the information section (date, venue, time, house number, etc.) and I align everything clean—because if you have space, why not utilize all the space? I also keep the color direction tight (mostly brown), so I’m changing reds to brown, copying gradients/layer styles, and controlling hierarchy by switching text weights (regular vs bold) so the important parts read fast. After the layout is solid, I bring the “magic” with background and gold styling. Instead of wasting time searching online, I pull from my own templates (time is money), drag elements into the document, and then tweak them to match the concept—white edges, gradient adjustments, and Hue/Saturation to push a yellow-gold feel. I also show a simple way to speed up selections (channels for black/white elements) and I remind you: if you want your design to stand out, you have to put effort into every little thing you touch on the screen. At the end, I present two options (A or B) so the client can choose with less back-and-forth.
