About This Video

In this video I walk you through a simple “beginner-friendly” flyer design in Photoshop, and I keep it very practical—just one small foundation flyer. I start by choosing a clean size (I went with a square 4x4 inches at 300dpi, or you can do 1200x1200px), then I paste my text, align everything, and build the layout step-by-step. You’ll see how I break the headline, center-align key parts, and create a quick badge for “Climate Action 2025” so the design feels modern and organized. I also show you how I handle images and blending: I scale the background photo, send it behind the text, add a layer mask, and blend it softly so it doesn’t fight the typography. For color, I pick from the brand (green + a touch of yellow) and I use a gradient to make it feel richer. I talk about fonts too—my rule is 2 or 3 fonts max (unless you really know when to break it), because that helps your flyer look clean. To finish, I add small details like a pattern overlay and an emoji element, then I match the colors with Hue/Saturation and blur it slightly for depth. The big takeaway: design is not actually difficult when you know what to do—keep one consistent style, align properly, and remember to save your work.
