Dismiss (sulfentrazone) is what I like for an early-season blanket application because it’s a relatively inexpensive way to get ahead of sedges. In my test it showed quicker, more visible leaf burn and discoloration compared to the Certainty-type option, which is why I like it before warm-season turf really greens up.

- +Can be part of a broader mix strategy (I often add metsulfuron early)

- -Can cause turf discoloration if applied after green-up or under dew/low-volume conditions
