Indian Wedding Outfit Ideas | Affordable Ethnic Wear | Kreena Desai

The wedding season is upon us and styling a great outfit for each event can pretty much be a task and a half. From the engagement to the reception, there are several rituals to be performed in a traditional Hindu wedding, and wearing an appropriate outfit for each function can get a bit tricky. Given the fact that an Indian outfit is mostly really shiny and vibrant, I personally like to keep my looks very simple yet very elegant. More than the embroidery and work done on the outfit, playing with different silhouettes is what I look for in stylish ethnic wear. The first three looks varied in silhouettes from dhoti pants to asymmetrical hem lines and my final outfits were simple yet stylish ghagra/cholis. All these outfits were really affordable and they definitely made a statement at each event.
