New Cardiac Surgery Service Launches with NI's First ICU at Kingsbridge Private Hospital Belfast

Essential to our new cardiac surgery service at Kingsbridge Private Hospital in Belfast presents NI’s first private ICU, named the ‘Jim Dornan ICU,’ after Professor Jim Dornan, one of the founding consultants at Kingsbridge who sadly passed away in 2021. We were delighted to have Brendan Doyle, our first cardiac patient who had lifesaving Mitral Valve Repair Surgery in January 2022, an operation he had been waiting on since 2016 launching the service and it was a pleasure to see him again doing so well.
