Truthear NOVA on Shenzhen Audio

Truthear NOVA is a coherent 1DD+4BA hybrid that, in my testing, delivers a warm-neutral tuning with a sub-bass-focused boost and smooth, well-extended treble. It’s easy to drive, comfortable for long sessions, and its technical performance (stage, imaging, detail) is excellent for the sub-$200 category.

Pros

+Deep, well-controlled sub-bass with great rumble
+Smooth, extended treble with good detail
+Large and deep soundstage with solid imaging
+Lightweight shells and comfortable fit (for my ears)

Cons

-Mid-bass lacks some punch and body
-Lower mids can sound a bit thin
-No nozzle mesh/filter, so tips need regular cleaning
