The S.M.S.L RAW-MDA1 is the kind of all-in-one desktop DAC/amp I can recommend when you want strong power, lots of inputs, and clean operation with both IEMs and full-size headphones. In my testing it sounded natural and transparent with a solid black background, and it drove everything from sensitive IEMs (low gain) to 250–300Ω dynamics and planars (high gain) with authority.
