Moondrop Blessing 2 is a hybrid IEM I’ve used for over a year, and it’s still one of my favorite picks under $500 because the tuning is neutral, open, and very detailed. For me it also nails comfort thanks to the long nozzle and excellent seal, plus the soundstage is unusually large for an IEM.
Pros
- +Neutral, open, detailed sound
- +Linear bass with good body and impact; no bass bleed into mids
- +Excellent imaging, separation, and large soundstage
- +Outstanding fit and passive isolation (for my ears)
- +Scales well with better sources
Cons
- -Stock cable feels cheap, tangly, and microphonic
- -Large shells and thick/long nozzle may not fit everyone
- -Very occasional upper-mid glare on some recordings
- -No protective nozzle mesh (requires tip/maintenance awareness)
