Grado SR80x on Amazon

I link the Grado SR80x because it’s a common entry point into the Grado sound and a sensible place to start if you’ve never owned Grados before. In my own upgrade path I went from SR80e straight to SR325e, and I still think moving up from the SR60/SR80 tier is the most logical jump if you want more of that forward, energetic Grado presentation.

Pros

+Good entry point into the Grado Prestige sound
+Makes sense as a starting model before jumping to SR325-level tuning

Cons

-Less of the SR325-level technical performance and intensity
-If you want the top Prestige experience, you may end up upgrading
