I mention the Grado SR325x because it’s the current revision and the most direct alternative to my SR325e. In my comparison it comes off more balanced, with better bass performance and a slightly tamed treble for a smoother, more rounded presentation. Just keep in mind I don’t love the stock F pads comfort-wise, and pad swaps will change the intended tuning.

Cons
- -Stock F pads are the least comfortable for me (drivers sit on my ears)
- -Not as lively/crisp and not as resolving to my ears as SR325e
- -Changing pads alters the intended sound signature
