In this video, join me as I head to Findhorn, Scotland, for what I thought would simply be a lunchtime break by the sea. I originally planned to finish last week’s video, where I was photographing abstract images of water, but the moment I stepped onto the pier, everything changed! I was greeted by the most beautiful misty landscape — calm water, soft light, and an incredible sense of stillness in nature. What was meant to be a quick reset turned into a couple of peaceful hours of landscape photography, photographing the changing light, tides, and gentle movement of the mist across the bay. The water was flat and quiet, creating the most stunning reflections. As the mist slowly lifted, the light shifted again, revealing moments that felt like pure magic. This video is more than just photography — it’s about mindful photography, slowing down, and appreciating the healing power of being present. Nature has an incredible ability to give us breathing space, to slow the mind, to calm the body, and to remind us to take time for ourselves. Being by the water felt like a form of nature therapy, and I hope this video brings you that same sense of peace. If you enjoy slow living, stillness in nature, and the gentle rhythm of photographing calm water and quiet landscapes, I hope these images give you a moment of peace wherever you are.
