This video is my 2025 “Top 15 Fountain Pens” time capsule—basically me checking in with myself (and with you) to see what I’m actually reaching for right now. It’s become an annual tradition and also my little birthday party on YouTube, so yes: we’re celebrating another year of pen-and-ink blessings, changing tastes, and the kind of hyperfocus that makes you forget time is real. I also share my criteria up front so you know what I’m prioritizing when a pen earns a spot—because my rankings aren’t just about hype, they’re about what fits my journaling life. I walk through the list in chunks (15–11, 10–7, then 6–1), and I keep it grounded in how I use pens for fountain pen journaling: daily writing, planner and journal setups, and the whole “aesthetic ritual” side of stationery. The big takeaway is that progress is impossible without change—so if your favorites shift year to year, that’s not inconsistency, that’s growth.
