In this video I’m unboxing and reviewing the Tissot PRX that I literally bought the day before filming, and I’m showing you every little detail so you can figure out which option is actually best for you. I picked mine up at Macy’s (they resized it for me and gave me the extra links in the bag), but I’ve also seen Tissot at places like Nordstrom. I went with the blue dial PRX because in the sun it hits different—super reflective, really rich, and it honestly makes the watch look 10 times more luxurious. I break down the two main movement choices: the regular PRX quartz (battery) vs the PRX Powermatic 80 (automatic). For me, it really comes down to price—my quartz PRX was $415, and the Powermatic 80 is about double. If you’re trying to stay under $1,000 and you’ve got the budget, I’d go Powermatic 80, but if you want a clean everyday Swiss watch without wasting a ton of money, the quartz is perfect. I also talk sizing (I chose 36mm because I’ve got a tiny wrist), plus features like sapphire crystal, 100 ft water resistance, the date window, and that stainless steel satin bracelet that’s comfortable and doesn’t pull hairs. Overall, it gives me old money vibes and I’m honestly really happy with the pickup.
