I shot every image in this video as a SOOC JPEG using the Kodak Vericolor Warm recipe from Fuji X Weekly. I specifically wanted a recipe built on Nostalgic Negative (X-Trans 5 only), and I love that it feels like less-contrast Classic Negative but with reds that still pop—almost like a warmer Classic Chrome.

Pros

  • +Uses Nostalgic Negative as the base for a warm, filmic look on the X-T5
  • +Great balance of warmth and contrast for travel photos
  • +Looks especially nice paired with a diffusion filter

Cons

  • -Requires an X-Trans 5 camera to use Nostalgic Negative
  • -May not match the look if you prefer higher-contrast recipes
