In this vlog, I’m taking you with me as we travel to America for the holidays—and yes, it’s the trip where I’m meeting my in-laws for the first time. I started the video exactly the way I always do things: close to the deadline. I toned my hair last minute (new hair, old wig, new style), then jumped straight into the real chaos—packing, cooking, cleaning, sorting the kids’ things, and of course packing my gadgets because my entire squad comes with me. If you’re a creator, you already know the mindset: why invest in equipment if you’re not going to use it? I also unboxed my first Teddy Blake bag and tested it properly—cameras, lenses, tripod, phone, “wallet” (aka my power bank), everything fit. Then we flew from Houston to LA for Christmas, did the tourist behavior (Hollywood Boulevard, shopping because it was freezing, Universal Studios with the family), and then headed to New York for New Year’s Eve. NYC was total chaos—Times Square blocked off, crazy walking, and Uber… a scam. I still did the helicopter ride (my heart was doing jiggy ja ja j), and we counted down into the New Year. After all the enjoyment, I came back home for a Costco haul and a full reset—because we ate shamelessly and it was time to cleanse, juice, and get my home back together.
