In this video I’m roasting (yes, brutally) some of your photography portfolios—but the point isn’t to be mean, it’s to make the feedback useful for everyone watching. I asked you to send in your PDFs, websites, and socials, and I picked a handful to critique like a client or art buyer would: fast, picky, and based on what’s clearly communicated. We look at what works, what confuses, and what makes a portfolio feel “hireable” versus just a random collection of nice images. The big takeaway: your portfolio is a business tool, not a diary. I talk about clarity (what do you shoot, for whom, and why you?), consistency (editing, subjects, and intention), and ruthless curation (less images, more impact).
