I got the chance to spend extended time with a pretty great EV, courtesy of Cadillac! For a couple of weeks, the Cadillac LYRIQ 2025 in the Sport trim was my way of getting around, including on a road trip to CES 2025 at the beginning of this year. After doing that road trip of over 3 hours from LA for over a decade, the LYRIQ made this year's trek the easiest one ever. And in the time I spent with the LYRIQ, I got the chance to understand what makes Cadillac's luxurious reputation a practical choice for life on the road. Some tech specs about the Cadillac LYRIQ: The LYRIQ comes complete with a robust, Android based infotainment system that emanates from a 33-inch diagonal LED display and through a 19 speaker AKG sound system. Design aspects include plenty of bright futuristic lighting that even extend to parts of the interior for mood setting. An EPA-estimated 307 miles of range is possible with the 102kwH battery pack that can be managed with regenerative braking, one pedal driving, and charged up using any major charging network, including the Tesla Supercharger network.
