The main takeaway here is simple: you must already have the UPay app and an account before you can bind the physical card, and the whole activation process is very easy. After activation, I test the card with a real online purchase on Temu, including how to pull the full card details (expiry + CVV) from inside the app—because the physical card only shows the card number. I also show the security verification step to reveal card info, how to view your balance in USD and switch to NGN to see the local equivalent, and how OTP verification works during checkout.
