In this video I’m sharing what our summer homeschool plans actually look like this year—what I’m keeping, what I’m changing, and how I’m trying to keep it realistic with three kids. Summer for us is a chance to stay in a gentle routine without the pressure of a full school-year schedule, so I’m focusing on a mix of skill-building, Bible-centered learning, and a few fun enrichment pieces that still feel meaningful. I also talk through curriculum and resource picks I’m using to support our summer rhythm, including Bible and worldview options like God’s Big Story and Foundations in Worship, plus extras like geography, music appreciation, and biographies. And since math is one of those areas I like to keep consistent, I’m sharing how IXL fits into our plans (and why it’s such an easy tool to use when your days are a little more flexible).
