TRIBE Auckland Hotel
TRIBE Auckland is a brand new, smaller boutique hotel right in the CBD on Fort Street, and I stayed as a paying guest. I loved the fresh, modern urban design, the comfy firm bed, and how central it is for restaurants and the waterfront. It’s a great option if you want something more affordable and cozy, without needing big facilities like a gym or pool.

- +Helpful staff (they brought extra seating and upgraded my room)
Cons
- -No gym or swimming pool
- -No traditional wardrobe (open hanging storage is limited)
- -Some furniture hadn’t arrived yet during my stay
- -Minor first-week plumbing issue with the toilet flush
