The Sky Tower was honestly one of my favourite parts of this stay because my room had an unobstructed view and it looks gorgeous when it lights up at night. If you’re visiting Auckland, it’s a fun landmark to have on your doorstep—and yes, you can even jump off it if you’re brave enough.

Pros

+Iconic Auckland landmark with great views (especially at night when lit up)
+Easy point of reference if you’re staying in the CBD
+Adds a “touristy” feel if you’re visiting Auckland for the first time

Cons

-Can be weather-dependent for views (it was a muggy day when I filmed)
-Not an on-site hotel feature—just something nearby/visible
